FBiH CPS issues decisions on the work of public transportation, catering sector

SARAJEVO, May 12 (FENA) - At today's extraordinary session, the FBiH Civil Protection Staff issued recommendations on allowing the reintroduction of public local and regional transportation of passengers in road and rail transport in the Federation of BiH pertaining to special epidemiological measures.

An order was also issued allowing the provision of services to catering facilities of all categories, including hotels in their open space areas (gardens and terraces), while respecting special epidemiological measures. The use and consumption of hookah pipes is prohibited in catering facilities.

Today's decision of the FBiH Civil Protection Staff allows the work of private dental clinics and private dental laboratories in the territory of FBiH, while respecting special epidemiological measures.

In this regard, the FBiH Ministry of Health is in charge, in cooperation with the Institute of Public Health of FBiH, to determine the procedures for the work of clinics and laboratories and make information on those procedures available on their websites.

The FBiH CPS has instructed the cantonal civil protection headquarters, in cooperation with the cantonal ministries of education and the cantonal ministries of health, to consider the possibility of the opening of educational institutions, kindergartens and driving schools in compliance with epidemiological measures.

The cantonal ministries of health are in charge, in cooperation with the cantonal institutes of public health, to determine the procedures for the work of educational institutions, kindergartens and driving schools and to make information available on their websites.

Also, the FBiH CPC ordered the FBiH Civil Protection Directorate to distribute protective medical equipment and funds from the donation of the Government of the Republic of Austria (blankets, disposable bedding, hygiene packages and protective gloves), to cantonal civil protection headquarters in FBiH.

Under the second decision, the FBiH CPS should distribute protective medical equipment and funds from the donation of the Government of the Republic of Turkey (protective suits, three-layer medical masks, universal masks, protective masks, protective gloves and 70 percent alcohol) to all cantonal civil protection headquarters in FBiH, stated the FBiH Civil Protection Staff.
