Six months of suspended prison sentence for assaulting journalists

SARAJEVO, May 11 (FENA) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo found Emil Hamzić and Suad Lelo guilty of violent behavior.

They were sentenced to six months in prison each with a suspended sentence. The sentence will not be executed if the accused does not commit a new criminal offense within two years from the day the verdict becomes final, the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton announced.

They were charged that on July 26, 2018, during a rally of demobilized veterans of war, near the intersection of in Skenderija, they physically attacked a photo reporter of the "Klix.ba" internet portal and a cameraman of "Al Jazeera Balkans" TV, causing them bodily injuries.
