Minister Mitrović and Ambassador Koç discuss assistance to Turkish Airlines

SARAJEVO, May 4 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Communications and Transport Vojin Mitrović talked on the phone today with Turkish Ambassador to BiH Haldun Koç, at the initiative of Ahmet Salih Kansu, Turkish Airlines Sarajevo Branch Manager.

Namely, Ambassador Koç and Branch Manager Kansu have sent an official letter to the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH regarding the reduction of service costs and fees at the Sarajevo International Airport due to the spread of coronavirus.

Minister Mitrović pointed out that the common position of the Ministry, headed by the BiH Directorate of Civil Aviation, is to meet and help this company.

Minister Mitrović informed Ambassador Koç about his position and thanked his country for donating medical supplies to Bosnia and Herzegovina at a time when the world was fighting coronavirus pandemic.

Ambassador Koç thanked Minister Mitrović for his prompt response and understanding of this situation and commended the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against coronavirus.

The interlocutors stressed that they will continue to work on strengthening cooperation and improving relations between the two countries in the field of transport and communications, as well as economic cooperation in general, the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH stated.
