SARAJEVO, April 26 (FENA) - FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić received a shipment with 80 ventilators, which arrived from Beijing yesterday, purchased by the Government of the Federation of BiH for health care purposes at the Sarajevo International Airport.
These are 80 ventilators with two outputs, which can be both portable and stationary, and as such are currently the most sought on the market.
“The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina purchased these ventilators to support our health system and their fight against the coronavirus pandemic. This is an incomplete shipment because unfortunately not all of them could come at once, so the remaining 20 ventilators will arrive with the next flight,” said Novalić after the plane landed.
“We appreciate every donation from our friends, but a pandemic is a worldwide problem and everyone has trouble getting equipment. So the Government decided to buy ventilators worth KM 10.5 million,” he added.
FBiH Prime Minister said that with this, which is by far the largest shipment of ventilators, our health system will be even stronger to cope with the pandemic.
“The Government will, as before, with all the possible resources, be at the disposal of our health care system and doctors who are on the front line of defense,” emphasized Novalić.
