SARAJEVO, April 20 (FENA) - The number of people infected with coronavirus over the age of 65 is declining. This gives us optimism that we can mitigate movement restrictions, said Head of the FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff Fahrudin Solak at today's press conference of FBiH institutions.

Solak stressed that the situation with the coronavirus pandemic is being closely monitored throughout the Federation of BiH, as well as in the region, and that analyses and decisions are made accordingly on what to do next.

“Accordingly, we will consider to slowly ease certain measures. We will definitely consult with colleagues from the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health and what they propose, because each of the measures adopted is first and foremost a health one. We have reason to be optimistic, we can see that the situation is quite good. The measures are mostly respected, hopefully they will remain so, and we will monitor the situation,” Solak said.

He added that it is necessary to follow the instructions of the World Health Organization, as well as the local prominent experts.
