ZENICA, April 13 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović and the Federation of BiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić paid a visit today to the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC), the Zenica Cantonal Hospital (KBZ) and ArcelorMittal Zenica (AMZ).
The delegation also included the cantonal Prime Minister Mirza Ganić and the Assembly Speaker Ćazim Huskić, as well as some ministers in the ZDC Government.
"Our doctors at KBZ and across the canton are doing a really good job in this difficult time. I think they are making a maximum effort, with the resources they have at their disposal, to make our response against the coronavirus pandemic more successful," said Džaferović, who praised the involvement of all structures in the ZDC.
KBZ Director Rasim Skomorac expressed satisfaction with this visit and the opportunity to present what the Zenica Hospital and the cantonal Crisis Staff undertook in organizing the health system, especially in the organization of the hospital for the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
Džaferović noted that they also visited ArcelorMittal today, where he heard very important information.
"I found out that 20 percent of people are at home, but that everyone is getting paid. Production continues, and the company has a sense of social responsibility and is helping the wider community. This company also takes great care in protecting its employees," Džaferović said.
