SARAJEVO, April 7 (FENA) - Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) deputy in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Marinko Čavara, believes that measures to mitigate the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic adopted by the FBiH Government are not overdue and that the Government is doing the best it can.
He urged all crisis staffs to consider all decisions they adopt and to ensure that, in addition to measures prescribed by the health system, economic operators also work.
“Neither the state nor the Federation nor the cantons will be able to compensate for what the economic operators will lose. If this goes on, I'm afraid we will lose many jobs, which is irreversible,” Čavara warned.
He pointed out that some of the European countries, including Austria, are already mitigating measures and that, in addition to health, everyone must take into consideration existential problems.
“No measure of the FBiH Government can compensate for economic activity - concluded Čavara before the session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament.
