SARAJEVO, April 1 (FENA) - The Clinic for Gastroenterohepatology at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS) is going into isolation because one doctor has been infected with Covid-19.

KCUS Director, professor Dr. Sebija Izetbegović explained that the doctor has been working for several days with symptoms of a cold, without reporting any possible risky contacts or having been tested.

"She did this only after she went on sick leave," Izetbegović told FENA.

Since the doctor in question tested positive for coronavirus, the entire clinic is going into isolation.

She stressed that all staff at the clinic have been tested and those who are free today will be tested tomorrow.

Emergency patients are for now referred to the General Hospital 'Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakaš'.
