SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) – The FBiH Government today held an emergency telephone session and issued the Decision on the temporary use of the Mahir Begić Police Training Center in the Hadžići Municipality to the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, during the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The decision was issued after the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton addressed the FBiH Ministry of Interior by an act stating that the Police Officers of the Cantonal Police of the SC Ministry of Interior fulfill obligations related to the implementation of health care measures of the population of BiH from coronavirus, to carry out activities on a continuous visit and control of persons who were issued self-isolation measures, and that decisions issued by the competent inspection bodies to prohibit movement were violated on a daily basis by a number of citizens in the Sarajevo Canton, the FBiH Government Office for Public Relations stated.
