SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) – Chief of the FBiH Civil Protection Service Crisis Staff Fahrudin Solak said at the press conference today that the number of people who need to be tested for the new Covid-19 coronavirus in three major clinical centers will be monitored, answering a journalist's question about how 150.000 tests will be distributed to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“There is also possibility that other laboratories would do the testing, but everything will go through the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH and will be deployed according to needs,” Solak explained.

The shipment is due to arrive next week, and by that time it will deploy about 40,000 tests at these three reference laboratories and those that are accredited for that type of work.

He added that tests were delivered to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo and the Clinical Hospital in Mostar today, and that an additional 20,000 tests are expected tomorrow, and said that there will be enough tests in the coming period.

He also said that two FBiH Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) aircrafts will be put into operation as of tomorrow, which will transport samples from remote cities to Sarajevo, primarily Bihać, but the possibility will be considered for other centers that are remote.
