Apartment building in Vogošća in full isolation due to resident with Covid-19

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) - Immediately after learning firsthand that a resident of the Sarajevo suburb of Vogošća was found to be positive for coronavirus, the Vogošća Civil Protection Staff held an emergency session and adopted emergency measures to stop the spread of the virus.

An order was passed to put the apartment building in Samir Gradišić Street in complete isolation, starting on March 26, 2020. This implies that entry to and exit from the building will be prohibited to all persons except healthcare professionals, police officers and authorized members of the civil protection service.

During the isolation period, residents of the apartment building in isolation will be provided with all necessary supplies, such as food and medicine, through protection and rescue services, the municipality said in a statement.

According to information obtained from the Vogošća Health Center, the lady in question who was found to be positive for coronavirus checked-in herself and was in self-isolation the whole period and there was no indication that she had interrupted the self-imposed isolation.
