SARAJEVO, March 23 (FENA) - FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić said today in Sarajevo that the FBiH Government has made a decision to allocate 200,000 KM to each hospital in Konjic, Goražde, Bihać, Zenica and Travnik for procurement of respirators and other medical supplies equipment.
“Public and utility companies are working regularly and so will continue, and there will be no problems with electricity, telephones, gas, garbage collection and the like,” said Novalić.
He also announced a recent budget rebalance, which was made at a time when the situation was normal, as the current crisis will significantly change the situation with budgets at all levels of government.
Novalić stressed that China is preparing aid for BiH, he also believes that Turkey has already sent assistance, and that talks with the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Qatar are underway.
FBiH Minister of Finance Jelka Miličević, who is also Commander of the FBiH Civil Protection Service Crisis Staff, said that 29 orders issued by that staff are currently in force.
“All orders were issued in a timely manner and I urge citizens to raise their personal protection system to the highest level,” said Miličević.
FBiH Minister of Health Vjakoslav Mandić pointed out that 342 persons were tested and 36 of which were positive in the FBiH, and that one more person in Goražde has been confirmed positive to coronavirus this morning.
“We have enough tests, but we need to be rational and only test patients determined by epidemiologists,” Mandić said.
