BIHAĆ, March 4 (FENA) - A group of about 200 migrants tried to forcibly enter the temporary reception center "Bira" last night, but members of the Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Interior (USC MoI) stopped them.

“A group of migrants tried to forcibly enter the temporary reception center for migrants, although they did not have adequate documents for this, that is, they are not accommodated in the temporary reception center "Bira". On that occasion, six Pakistani citizens, aged 19 to 22, were deprived of liberty for violating law and order and failing to comply with the lawful order of police officers,” said Spokesman of the USC MoI Ale Šiljdedić.

They were handed over to the Service for Foreigners' Affairs for further action, and the USC Police Directorate requested their removal from the area of this canton.

It was also confirmed that around 100 illegal migrants are coming to the territory of the Una-Sana Canton daily, and that the capacities of all existing reception centers have long been exceeded.

According to police data, more than 5,000 migrants currently reside in this part of the country, of which about 3,500 are accommodated in temporary reception centers in Bihać, Cazin and Velika Kladuša.
