Krišto participates in 'European Parliamentary Week 2020' in Brussels

SARAJEVO, February 17 (FENA) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto will participate in the work of the European Parliamentary Week, at the invitation of European Parliament Speaker David Sassoli and Croatian Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković which will take place on February 18 and 19, 2020 in Brussels.  

At this high-level gathering, parliamentarians from EU countries will discuss economic, budgetary and social issues, as well as environmental protection and the fight against climate change.

The meeting consists of the European Semester Conference and the Interparliamentary Conference on Stability, Economic Coordination and Governance in the European Union (EU).

As the organizers announce, both conferences will be an opportunity for parliamentarians to share information and best practices in implementing the Fiscal Compact on Stability, Coordination and Governance in Economic and Monetary Union.

At the same time, the aim of the European Parliamentary Week will be to strengthen cooperation between the European Parliament and the parliaments of the Member States and states in the pre-accession process for EU membership, PR Office of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly announced.
