Izetbegović-Kavalec: Better quality and equal education rights for all in BiH

SARAJEVO, February 11 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović received Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec, Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH on Tuesday.

Ambassador Kavalec informed Izetbegović about the OSCE's activities in BiH, and emphasized strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's EU and NATO integration paths.

Izetbegović urged the OSCE to become more involved in addressing the education of Bosniak children in the entity of RS, especially in Srebrenica.

It is necessary to introduce standards under which all children will have the same rights guaranteed to them by the Constitution.

The interlocutors jointly stated that it was important for Bosnia and Herzegovina to adopt the Agreement on Participation in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) within the appropriate timeframe, the SDA said.
