MOSTAR, January 27 (FENA) - On the occasion of the marking of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Mostar City Head Advisor Radmila Komadin and Public Relations Advisor Miroslav Landek, along with Mostar Jewish Community Representative Sara Romano Vujinović, on Monday morning laid a wreath at the Sutina Jewish Cemetery.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the Second World War, of 15,000 Jews, 12,000 of them died in numerous concentration camps throughout the countries of the former joint state.
The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 16, 2007 adopted a decision to mark January 27 in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as International Holocaust Remembrance Day, stated the Mostar City Administration.
