BANJA LUKA, December 30 (FENA) - The Presidency of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) today called on RS Prime Minister Radovan Višković to dismiss Interior Minister Dragan Lukač after physically assaulting an MP Draško Stanivuković during a special session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly.
The party states that such actions cannot and should not have any justification, especially when the perpetrator is someone who holds the highest office in that entity.
"We recall that the physical assault was preceded by clearly stated threats by Minister Lukacč addressed against MP Stanivuković, as well as an invitation to approach him so that he could attack Stanivuković," the PDP added.
Once again, they urge the members of the BiH Presidency to publish the official version of the document the BiH Reform Program, which was adopted at the Presidency session held on 19 November this year and sent to NATO headquarters in Brussels.
They announced that in the coming period, after the New Year and Christmas holidays, activities and a petition will be launched across the entity of Republika Srpska for citizens to voice their protest against raising the VAT rate and, consequently, new levies on the population, announced earlier by Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija.
