SARAJEVO, December 23 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija (Alliance of Independent Social Democrats - SNSD) expressed his content today after the new convocation of the Council of Ministers has been constituted and announced that the next session would be held on December 30.
The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly today confirmed the appointment of eight state ministers and nine deputy ministers, giving BiH state power 14 months after the general elections.
“The Council of Ministers Appointment Committee should meet again because the examination of Mlađen Bozović as a candidate has not been completed today, which is why I expect it to be completed soon, and that Božović will be appointed as minister of human rights and refugees at the next session of the BiH House of Representatives, expected in mid-January,” Tegeltija explained.
Vladimir Mijatović, nominated for the position of Deputy Minister of Security, a candidate of the Socialist Party (SP), is also controversial because it was not possible to confirm the accuracy of the information he provided to SIPA.
“If there is a disagreement, we will consider it, but if it is SIPA's position remains the same, we will not be able to propose him as Deputy Minister of Security,” concluded Tegeltija.
After the first meeting of the newly appointed Council of Ministers, Tegeltija also spoke about the budget for 2020, saying that the position on that most important financial document would be given by the new convocation and then forwarded to the BiH Presidency.
