SARAJEVO, December 20 (FENA) - President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament, David McAllister, warned BiH politicians that it is time to face their duties to the citizens and finally show responsibility.
“There is no more time to waste as BiH continues to lag behind the countries with the lowest GDP per capita in Europe,” said in an interview with ‘Dnevni Avaz’ McAllister today.
Fourteen months after the holding of the general elections, BiH will have executive power, and McAllister welcomed all constructive steps leading to the unblocking of the BiH institutions and facilitating the decision-making process at all levels.
“Confirmation of Zoran Tegeltija as head of the Council of Ministers and formation of government at the BiH level are welcomed steps.
Adopting a budget, implementing a program of social and economic reform and tackling the problem of the migration crisis are just some of the urgent tasks that the new government must address.
European future of Bosnia and Herzegovina lies on the shoulders of its citizens and its youth,” said McAllister.
