SARAJEVO, December 17 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (BiHPA) Denis Zvizdić told reporters in Sarajevo today that the session of that House scheduled for tomorrow will focus on the adoption of laws, possible adoption of the budget of the institutions of BiH for 2019, as well as 24 financial agreements that have been waiting its adoption, so that the funds provided will be implemented for important projects in the field of road construction, communal economy, economy, ecology, etc.

Zvizdić said after the sessions of the House of Representatives and the Joint Collegium of both Houses of the BiH PA, that the Joint Collegium had established the criteria for appointing members to all the joint commissions of the BiH PA. He added that he would have names for those commissions very soon, maybe on December 24.

"Finally, we will have a delegation for the Council of Europe, given that we will appoint these joint commissions at the next sessions of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples, which will be in mid-January next year," Zvizdić said.

As for the appointment of the new BiH Council of Ministers, he said that two possible dates for the session of the House of Representatives were set today.

"Whether it will be December 23 or December 30 is not up to us. We are ready to schedule an emergency session for the appointment of the Council of Ministers of BiH as soon as the background check procedures are completed and we get a proposal for the appointment of ministers and deputy ministers," said Zvizdić.

He also commented on BiH institutions' budget for this year and said that numerous financial agreements could have been discussed earlier, and this was a topic discussed throughout 2019.

"We know the reasons for blocking the work of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly. There was no reason for this. All the citizens of BiH and the whole BiH have suffered because financial agreements have not been implemented long ago. Now we have a situation that an agreement has been reached, that we have a coalition at the level of BiH and I expect and sincerely hope that on December 23 we will be in a position to appoint a Council of Ministers of BiH, and if not then December 30 will be the date when we will surely do it," said Zvizdić.
