Zvizdić receives non-resident Ambassador of Albania in an inaugural visit

SARAJEVO, December 3 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić, today received in an inaugural visit the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Zagreb, Riza Poda.

The two officials emphasized good and friendly relations between the two countries, without outstanding issues and with mutual commitment for the improvement of these relations, especially in the field of economy.

Ambassador Poda pointed out that his country is currently in a difficult situation following the devastating earthquakes that hit the Republic of Albania, and requested assistance from Bosnia and Herzegovina in this regard.

On behalf of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Speaker Zvizdić expressed his condolences to the Albanian people over the earthquake that hit that country, causing many casualties.

In this regard, Bosnia and Herzegovina has vowed to provide financial and any other assistance to the friendly people of the Republic of Albania, the BiH PA said.
