US Embassy in BiH presents small grants to support civil society

ZENICA, November 19 (FENA) - Representatives of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina presented small grants at the American Corner in Zenica today, for which the US government will allocate USD 700.000 next year.  

Public call is open until December 27 this year.

The grants are intended to assist Euro-Atlantic integration, youth activities, democracy development, support to civil society, media development.

"Grants are something that our people can count on, especially within non-governmental organizations, for the development of their small, medium or large programs," said Manager of the American Corner in Zenica, Sead Pašić.

He stated that it is very important to follow all the prescribed procedures when writing the program, and the maximum amounts that will be individually awarded to applicants whose programs meet the requirements of the call are up to USD 25.000.

After Zenica, American Embassy will present this call in Doboj today.
