MOSTAR, October 29 (FENA) – Mostar's 'Aluminij' reported on Tuesday that 'M. T. Abraham Group' is the only one that submitted its bid for the company so far, rejecting media reports that FBiH Government received other investors' offers.
'M. T. Abraham Group' presented its offer to the Government of the Federation of BiH on October 17 and in the meantime, Aluminij's Management was informed about the offer in detail, it is said in a statement from Aluminij Mostar.
Management supports all efforts of potential investors to enable the restart of production and to ensure a sustainable and stable concept of operation and development of Aluminij.
"Hoping that talks between the bidder and the FBiH Government will resume soon, we want to emphasize that in the meantime, most of the work has been done in Aluminij regarding the restructuring of the company, so that any serious investor can count on entering into a highly professional working environment, ready to meet all needs," Aluminij Mostar stated.
They also point out that their predictions have proved to be correct that the termination of Aluminij's operations cannot be good for anyone, and it is evident that problems Aluminij faced have a great impact on our environment.
"We disagree with analyses and evaluations that the termination of Aluminij's operations provided stabilization of the electricity system and created conditions for lower electricity prices for consumers, because this is simply not an accurate calculation, but on the contrary, Aluminij has been the stabilizer of the system for years," it is said in a statement.
