BANJA LUKA, September 27 (FENA) - Milorad Dodik, President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), announced that a special session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (NSRS) will adopt conclusions that will be position of the RS on all outstanding issues in BiH and set out in that entity.

Preliminary version of the conclusions, recently adopted at the SNSD Main Board, was discussed today by the SNSD Executive Committee, and will be submitted to municipal organizations and coalition partners of that party to agree on preparation of materials for a special session of the National Assembly.

He said that the RS Parliament's response will be in accordance with the RS Constitution.

After the SNSD Executive Board meeting, Dodik said at a press conference that SNSD is open to the rapid formation of government at the BiH level, and they remain committed to their policies and candidates for the BiH Council of Ministers.

He says that the work of the state parliament will not be unblocked until the formarion of a new Council of Ministers.

“We are ready to confirm the new Council of Ministers as of tomorrow and unblock the work of the institutions and focus on the European path of BiH, and not NATO membership of BiH. No documents such as NATO Membership Action Plan will be accepted,” Dodik is specific.

He reiterated that the SNSD is ready to support an individual plan for cooperation with NATO, but that this does not mean MAP, which is unacceptable and, as he says, will never be adopted.

Dodik said that statements about military exercise involving NATO troops was taking place in Manjača near Banja Luka are incorrect, but that they are activities of the BiH Armed Forces.

He also claims that Matthew Palmer, the US Special Representative for the Western Balkans, knows that there is no consent in BiH for moving towards NATO membership.
