Novalić dismisses Muhamed Gurbet from the duty of advisor

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 26 (FENA) - FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić has dismissed Muhamed Gurbet from the duty of advisor today after information were released in the media regarding his past convictions.

“I was never aware that he was convicted, and I simply did not suspect, because he even submitted a certificate from the Court with a seal and signature stating that he was not convicted. I did this today for precautionary measures, because the FBiH Government has no authority to verify official documents from judicial institutions. Gurbeta is no longer my advisor as of today,” said the FBiH Prime Minister.

The official documentation provided by Gurbeta also contained Certificate issued by the Sarajevo Municipal Court stating that no indictment had been brought before the courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or that the indictment had not been confirmed and that no conviction has been pronounced for a criminal offense with a sentence of up to five years or fine as capital punishment, Public Relations Office of the FBiH Government announced.
