GRADAČAC, August 28 (FENA) - The 46th International Plum and Agriculture Fair began today in Gradačac, with about 310 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, countries in the region and the EU.
Director of the Gradačac Plum Fair Hašim Šabanović points out that everyone visiting Gradačac in this period of time will also enjoy a variety of cultural content.
“Visitors will be able to see presentations of the latest products and services in the field of production and processing of food and beverages, agricultural machinery and protective equipment. Chambers of commerce, agricultural cooperatives, tourist boards, local entrepreneurs and companies from the Tuzla, Sarajevo and Posavina cantons, as well as the City of Zagreb, which is a partner of this year's Plum Fair will also be presented,” said Šabanović.
Denial Tulumović, the Tuzla Canton Prime Minister, said that this event is an opportunity for everyone to talk about the situation of agriculture and its development.
“The fair encourages economic development and starting new businesses that encourage faster development of the country,” said Tulumović.
Stjepan Mesić, former President of the Republic of Croatia was also present at the fair.
“I'm glad to see greater achievements and it is clear that the authors of the first fair were right that this fair will be longer-lived than it had been thought previously,” Mesić said.
He explains that it is no longer a fair that represents only goods that people can produce, but a fair where people make big deals.
