FENA Press release

BANJA LUKA, August 21 (FENA) - Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, agreed that the formation of a new BiH Council of Ministers and authorities in the Federation of BiH is a prerequisite for moving further towards the EU.

During today’s meeting in Banja Luka, they indicated that it is necessary to form the BiH Council of Ministers, as well as the government in the Federation of BiH as soon as possible.

Višković stressed that failure to form government at the level of BiH and the Federation of BiH, eleven months after the elections, prevents many life and economic issues that citizens expect from their elected representatives, stated the entity government of RS.

The Prime Minister of RS expressed his appreciation to the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and the EU Special Representative for co-operation, pointing out that the RS had an honest interlocutor who, as stated in the statement, understood the problems and constitutional order of BiH and who devotedly worked on its European path.
