MOSTAR, August 16 (FENA) - Croatian National Assembly (HNS) BiH believes that BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić, who allegedly usurped the position of a Croatian member of the BiH Presidency through electoral engineering, in a rude and completely direct manner attacked foundations of the constitutional order of BiH and the Dayton Peace Agreement, in his statement yesterday.
Komšić has repeatedly stated that he does not recognize and rejects the principle of constituency of peoples, and called on other political entities in BiH to join his unconstitutional and anti-Dayton political agenda.
"Therefore, without any legal and political doubt, Komšić's statements should be characterized as a direct attack to the constitutional legal order, negation of the BiH Constitution and non-compliance with the Dayton Peace Agreement,” HNS stated.
Croatian National Assembly in BiH will take all legitimate legal and political activities to sanction these anti-state, anti-constitutional and anti-Dayton activities.
“Komšić tries to justify his anti-constitutional actions with his own (mis) interpretation of the European Commission's Opinion on BiH's application for EU membership, which does not in any way identify the right to stand as a candidate with the abolition of the fundamental principle of the Constitution of BiH and the Dayton agreement, the principles of constituency of peoples," HNS added.
HNS BiH said that they will use all legitimate legal and political means to protect the constitutional order and Croatian constituency in BiH.
