SARAJEVO, August 9 (FENA) – Thirteen members of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH stayed at the Turkish National Police Academy in Ankara from 22 July to 2 August, where they attended the training in “Securing international activities and summits ", stated the Directorate.
The aim of the training was professional development in the field of preparing action plans to create a safe environment for holding all kinds of gatherings, as well as activities that require a high level of security.
Lecturers from the National Police Academy presented activities of the Turkish police, from the preparation to the realization of securing national and international gatherings in the Republic of Turkey through a number of thematic workshops. In addition to the theoretical part, members of the Directorate visited the special forces base of the Turkish Police, where they attended the practical part of the lecture through demonstration exercises and simulations.
Members of the Directorate successfully completed the training and acquired additional skills in the field of planning, preparing and securing public meetings, with special reference to international summits and events, that they will use in performing tasks and activities within the jurisdiction of the Directorate.
