RIYADH, June 19 (FENA) - A delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by Minister Igor Crnadak, was in a three-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which they visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country today.
Minister Crnadak spoke with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ibrahim Abdulaziz al-Assaf, and a Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of BiH and Saudi Arabia was signed.
During the talks between the foreign ministers, the two countries concluded that the relations are good, but also that there is room for stronger economic cooperation.
It was agreed that, with this aim, mutual visits will be made more frequent, with an emphasis on additional foreign trade and more investment in BiH, following positive experiences with BBI Bank and the Al Shiddi Group.
The ministers welcomed the introduction of the direct flight between Sarajevo and Riyadh and expressed expectation that this would help intensify business meetings and achieve greater trade.
They discussed the consular relations and the possibilities of easing the visa regime, with a special emphasis on the reduction of visa prices for BiH citizens, which today is about 1,000 KM.
