BANJA LUKA, April 14 (FENA) – Economic indicators have been positive and Republika Srpska has solid basis to successfully implement goals defined in the Economic Reform Program in medium-term period, but for its full effect it is necessary for the Council of Ministers of BiH to be formed as soon as possible.
This was emphasized by members of delegation of the RS Government during talks within the spring Assembly of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington with the Head of the IMF Mission to BiH Martin Petri.
“Key areas we are focusing on in the upcoming period, where noticeable progress has been made, is strengthening competitiveness and productivity of economy, and battling grey economy at the same time. We will also be working on sustainability of the health system, more efficient public sector, improving the demographics, European integration and technological progress in RS,” it was emphasized during the meeting with the IMF delegation, Ministry of Finance of S stated.
