Zvizdić informed Prime Minister Li about the ongoing political and economic situation in our country and the region.

He said that Bosnia and Herzegovina in the previous period has met all the requirements of Brussels and we expect to receive the status of a candidate for EU membership, which would give a new dynamic to the relations between BiH and the EU.

Zvizdic expressed satisfaction with the dynamic of the development of relations between BiH and the People's Republic of China.

He added that through the Belt and Road Initiative, there has been strengthening of political and economic relations, and soon the construction of a 450MW Thermal Power Plant Block 7 in Tuzla will begin, which is the most important investment in the energy sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a concrete example of the implementation of ideas formulated in the framework of the 17 + 1 Summit.

Zvizdić said that BiH is interested in continuing further improvement and strengthening of relations with PR China in the sectors of tourism, energy and transport, where there is significant potential for investment and development.

He also highlighted the great interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina in exporting agricultural products to China, especially high-quality ones, such as dairy, honey and wines, which would greatly help to increase the volume of production in the country as well. He added that there are already signed agreements on agriculture, trade and economic cooperation.

Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang said that his country is interested in importing products from BiH. He also stressed the willingness of the Chinese side to increase cooperation in the tourism sector, especially in terms of investment in tourism infrastructure.
