Several persons severly injured in a mass fight among migrants in Bihać

BIHAĆ, February 3 (FENA) - Mass scale fight and a brawl between the migrants broke out at about 21.00 hrs. on Friday evening, at the temporary reception center for migrants 'Bira' in Bihać.

The Police Station in Bihać confirmed that they apprehended several persons and that several dozen migrants requested medical assistance at the Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić".

"The security guards at the Bira complex reported to the Police Station in Bihać that several hundred persons had been involved in the physical conflict, and that they were unable to control the situation.

All available units were immediately sent to the reception center Bira, including members of the Support Unit of the Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs who put the situation under control, said the spokesman of the MoI of the USC Ale Šiljdedić.

It was pointed out that 33 persons were identified as potential instigators of the mass fight.

"Eight citizens of Afghanistan, two individuals from India and one Pakistani have been deprived of their liberty and are under criminal investigation," Šiljdedić added.

It has also been confirmed that dozens of migrants have requested medical assistance at the Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić", and that three persons sustained serious physical injuries.
