BIHAĆ, January 24 (FENA) - Government of Great Britain and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) financed construction of a street lighting system in Borići and five cross-border settlements in Bihać, and purchase of a multifunctional communal vehicle for needs of the City of Cazin.

"This confirms excellent cooperation with city administrations in Bihać and Cazin and the project is exclusively intended for citizens who took in people in need. Six settlements now have street lighting system in Bihać and the aim is to make citizens feel safer. Cooperation does not stop here because we will implement several more projects in Bihać," said Project Coordinator Kristina Šešlija.

Apart from Borići, cross-border settlements Zavalje, Izačić, Vikići, Čavnik and Muslići also have street lighting now.

"City of Bihać nominated this project to restore certain consequences of the migration process. Over the next two months we expect implementation of projects for procurement of a multifunctional vehicle for needs of the Public Utility Service Company 'Komrad' and trash cans and containers, but also restoration of a trim trail and Partisan Cemetery in Borići," noted Edin Moranjkić from Bihać City Administration.

It was emphasized that projects that are currently implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the City of Bihać are worth more than 600 000 KM.
