Sullivan: The US sanctions against Milorad Dodik remain in force

FENA Muhamed Hadžibegić

SARAJEVO, December 17 (FENA) - The sanctions that the United States has imposed on Milorad Dodik, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, remain in force, confirmed today the US Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan after his meeting with members of the BiH Presidency in Sarajevo.

“I met with Chairman Dodik and the other two members of the Presidency of BiH because we respect this institution.

We respect democracy and citizens' decision to elect members of the Presidency, but this does not change Dodik's status when the sanctions are in question," said Sullivan.
