BANJA LUKA, November 7 (FENA) - The People’s Democratic Movement (NDP) is no longer part of the Alliance for Victory and will participate in the talks with parties gathered around SNSD to form a new parliamentary majority, NDP President Dragan Čavić confirmed this decision this evening.

He says that the past eight years of membership in the Alliance for Change and the Alliance or Victory have not yielded any concrete results, and that they received 17 percent less votes in this year’s October elections.

He added that this was an election coalition to which they gave all, but their candidates lost the elections.

Čavić confirmed at a press conference that he has talked with SNSD leader Milorad Dodik on participation in the new government, and expects that in the coming days they would hold talks with the political parties that will form the core of the parliamentary majority.

He claims that in these talks NDP will insist on restructuring the system of direct taxes, differentiated VAT rates, the rule of law, and increase of pensions by 10 percent.
