SARAJEVO, October 22 (FENA) - A conference titled "2018 IEEE PES ISGT Europe", dedicated to the energy sector this week in Sarajevo will gather around 300 participants from around the world.
It's the eighth edition of the "Innovative Smart Grid Technologies" conference sponsored by the world's IEEE Association and the Power & Energy section.
The focus of the conference is on the application of innovative industrial solutions in the electric energy sector with a special focus on IT and communication technologies, renewable sources of energy, energy efficiency and energy electronics.
The program of the conference, which lasts until October 25, will include plenary sessions, presentations of scientific and professional papers, tutorials and workshops on the topic of "Smart Grid", as a key component of the EU Energy Strategy.
