SARAJEVO, August 12 (FENA) – Director of the FBiH Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) Fahrudin Solak told FENA that this season is much better than the past ones when it comes to fires.
He said a lot has been done in terms of prevention and weather has been better.
“We can say a lot has been done in terms of prevention and warnings because fires were mostly caused by people,” said Solak.
He added there were two fires in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton a few days ago, which were controlled by firemen with quick intervention.
Solak emphasized that previous analysis showed that human factor was the cause in most cases.
He stated they are trying to warn people to be careful and turn to firemen, adding they also filed amendments to the law on protection from fire and firefighting.
