Mahmutbegović - Pack: Keep investing in education and professional training

SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) – Vice President of the Federation of BiH Melika Mahmutbegović met yesterday with German politician and president of European People's Party Women (EPP Women) Doris Pack, delegation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and representatives of Association "Pravnik".

Occasion of the meeting was the 12th International Summer School – Sarajevo 2018, which will gather 26 participants from 20 countries this year, including states of the region, Europe, the USA and Canada.

Students of master and doctor studies will have an opportunity to learn about transitional justice through lectures and discussions with esteemed experts and lecturers such as Doris Pack, Eibe Riedel, Marijana Toma, Marion Carrin and many others and to study the topic of this-year's school "Role of Transitional Justice in Raising Awareness on Human Rights and Rule of Law in Post-conflict Societies".

Doris Pack was interested in social-political situation in BiH, especially from the aspect of the election year and necessary constitutional changes. They agreed that the election campaign started much earlier than in the previous election cycles, which significantly slowed down the commenced reform processes.
