Judgment delivered in Sulejman Beriša et al. case for organized crime

SARAJEVO, July 9 (FENA) - Following a public trial, on 9 July 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered a judgment in the case of Sulejman Beriša et al. acquitting the accused Sulejman Beriša,  Mersudin Mešković, Saša Pešić and Mirko Ateljević of the charges that they committed the following criminal offenses: Sulejman Beriša - the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(3) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Mersudin Mešković, Saša Pešić i Mirko Ateljević - the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Court of BiH confirmed the Indictment in this case on 26 April 2016, which was specified at the hearing held on 26 March 2018, while the trial commenced on 19 September 2016.
