TUZLA, May 31 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton, Jakub Suljkanović, and Education and Science Minister Zlatan Muratović met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Guillaume Rousson.
This is the first official visit of the Ambassador to the Tuzla Canton, within which the Prime Minister and the Minister presented the Tuzla Canton, its geographical, demographic and economic data and potentials. Special attention during the conversation was dedicated to the possibilities for improving the already existing good cooperation, both economically and culturally, the TC Government stated.
Ambassador Rousson pointed out that the French Embassy intended to prepare and hold a part of the activities within the "Francophonie Week" in the Tuzla Canton as well.
“This is the week in which we have a significant number of activities organized with the aim of popularizing the French language and culture. On the other hand, when it comes to the inter-university cooperation, we could take advantage of the arrival of the "University Caravan" in BiH. It is a group of representatives of French universities who might visit Tuzla. Also, we expect that the delegation of the Tuzla University takes part in the scientific gathering that we are organizing on the occasion of the arrival of this caravan,” Ambassador Rousson concluded.
