SARAJEVO, May 30 (FENA) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative, Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, will on Thursday attend the public debate in Tešanj on the role of local communities in the EU accession process, held within the framework of the project “Local community takes over the EU Initiative".
In addition to Wigemark, the debate will be attended by numerous domestic, regional and international experts involved in the project.
The participants will also have an opportunity after the debate to attend an informative-educational event where presentations will be held by representatives of the EU-funded projects and other donors directly contributing to the economic and sustainable development of local communities: ProLocal - Local Governance and Economic Development Program in BiH financed by the EU and the German Government, implemented by GIZ, and MEG - the Municipal Environmental end Economic Management Project funded by the Swiss Government, and implemented by the UNDP, announced the organizers.
