SARAJEVO, May 23 (FENA) - Training in the field of "Prevention and Fight against Violent Extremism and Radicalism" was held today in Sarajevo, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, attended by members of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH Sead Jusić thanked the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina for the invested efforts in organizing the event and stressed the importance of the training for the members of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He called on the members of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to use the knowledge they have gained in this field in their everyday work.
Jasna Hodžić from the OSCE Mission to BiH presented a series of activities undertaken by the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of prevention and fight against violent extremism, and informed the participants about the implemented projects.
The aim of the training was to raise awareness and improve knowledge in the field of prevention and fight against violent extremism and radicalism, stated the BiH Ministry of Defense.
