FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 17 (FENA) - The Sarajevo Open Center has launched a media campaign on the occasion of the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT), observed on May 17, which for the first time gathers also people from public and political life in BiH.

The goal of the campaign is to emphasize the importance and the need for the official institutions to give support to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and intersex persons and the community as a whole, stated the Sarajevo Open Center.

By involving public figures in this year's campaign, the SOC wants to express support to LGBTI persons and raise awareness of the entire society.

The Sarajevo Open Center points out that it is necessary to strengthen alliances in order to fight together against omnipresent violence and inequality.
