SARAJEVO, May 4 (FENA) - For the purpose of improving the airport services, in accordance with the requirements and expectations of the passengers, the Sarajevo International Airport has established an online ticket sale system, thus becoming the first airline agent in Bosnia and Herzegovina that offers this service.
“Online purchase of tickets is available on the official website of the Sarajevo International Airport http://www.sia.ba.
After entering the destination and travel dates in the envisaged fields, the system will list all offers and options (number of transfers, different airline companies, etc.), listing the most favorable offers first.
This allows passengers to create their own itinerary according to their wishes and priorities,” told FENA Sanja Bagarić-Arnaut, a spokeswoman of the Sarajevo International Airport.
The system is created in cooperation with the global Amadeus e-Power reservation system, and combines all the necessary operations that enable the purchase in one place. In addition to all of the above, the system also includes the ability to select airplanes seats, the amount of luggage, and the like.
“Our goal was to facilitate easier access to our services to our passengers and the system is set to offer Sarajevo as a starting point, but you can change it and select any of the hundreds of airports in the world. Tickets can be purchased for the flights offered by more than 50 airline companies,” emphasized Bagarić-Arnaut.
Bagarić-Arnaut also added that the system is completely safe for online credit card payments, and that it has been developed in cooperation with Intesa Sanpaolo Bank and WS PAY-payment provider.
