US Embassy in Sarajevo: Matviyenko puts forward false and unfounded accusations

SARAJEVO, April 24 (FENA) - False and unfounded accusations put forward by Chairwoman Matviyenko do not deserve any particular commentary, the US Embassy in BiH told FENA after yesterday's address by the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The US Embassy stressed that the United States' commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a sovereign, multiethnic state and its EU and NATO future is well-known and does not require any further explanation.

Also, the Embassy underlined that Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens know that the United States is and will always remain their true friend and ally.
