SARAJEVO, April 24 (FENA) - Head of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies (DCPB) of BiH Mirsad Vilić received today in a farewell visit the departing Chief of Staff of EUFOR in BiH Brigadier General József Szpisják, and at the same time in an inaugural visit the new Chief of Staff Brigadier General Gábor Horváth.
Mr. Vilić informed the guests about the Directorate's significant activities that were implemented in the past period and thanked for the support provided continuously to the Directorate by EUFOR in BiH during the implementation of activities within its legal competence. He also recalled the unselfish assistance provided by EUFOR to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina during natural disasters that hit BiH.
They also discussed cooperation and joint activities of the Directorate and EUFOR in BiH.
Outgoing Chief of Staff of EUFOR in BiH, Brigadier General Szpisják thanked Mr. Vilić for the excellent professional cooperation during the implementation of joint projects and activities.
Brigadier General Horváth expressed readiness and commitment to continue and improve the cooperation between the Directorate and the EUFOR Staff in BiH in the forthcoming period.
Mr. Vilić thanked the outgoing Chief of Staff Szpisják for cooperation and wished him a successful continuation of his professional career. He welcomed the newly-appointed Chief of Staff to Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished him a successful professional engagement at the top of the EUFOR Staff in BiH, the BiH Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies stated.
