Izetbegović: Historical fact will remain that Šešelj is convicted war criminal

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 11 (FENA) - Today's pronouncement of the Second Instance Verdict of the Appeals Chamber of the Mechanism of the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague, finding Vojislav Šešelj guilty of incitement to persecution, forced displacement, deportation and other inhumane acts, as well as the persecution and violation of the right to safety , as a crime against humanity, offers very little satisfaction to the victims of aggression and genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressed the BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović in a statement for FENA.

Although no one can say they are satisfied with such judgment, nor with the fact that this radical nationalist has not been found guilty of the crimes he committed in BiH, as well as for all the other crimes he was charged with, however, it will remain as a historical fact, that Vojislav Šešelj is a convicted war criminal,” underlined Izetbegović.
