SARAJEVO, April 11 (FENA) - Director of the BiH Air Navigation Service Agency (BHANSA) Davorin Primorac confirmed that on December 5 next year BHANSA would take control of the entire airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Taking into account all activities undertaken and currently underway, we can talk about December 5 next year as the precise deadline for full control of BiH airspace," Mr. Primorac said.
Recently in Brussels, he, together with BiH Minister of Transport and Communications Ismir Jusko, has met with EUROCONTROL Director General Eamonn Brennan. On that occasion, the activities were presented that were undertaken to implement the Air Traffic Management Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as activities from the second phase of the project concerned.
Mr. Primorac presented the current status and plan of BHANSA activities at that meeting as well. With praise for what has been done so far to implement the most important project under the jurisdiction of BHANSA, Mr. Brennan expressed full support to EUROCONTROL for the planned activities of BHANSA to fully take control of the entire BiH airspace by the established date of the next year.
