SARAJEVO, April 8 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović talked today on the telephone with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
The conversation occurred at the initiative of the Serbian president before his arrival in BiH, where he will visit Mostar and Trebinje.
President Vučić showed interest in meeting with Izetbegović in Mostar, but Izetbegović could not respond to the invitation because of the previously agreed obligations in Sarajevo.
Vučić informed Izetbegović about the planned activities during his two-day stay in BiH.
The two expressed mutual desire to arrange an encounter in the near future to discuss open issues between BiH and Serbia.
Izetbegović and Vučić expressed determination to resolve all issues with a sincere and open dialogue, with mutual respect and in the spirit of good neighborly relations.
They also discussed the next steps to be taken on the implementation of the project of the Sarajevo - Belgrade motorway construction with the support of Turkey.
Chairman Izetbegović extended congratulations to President Vučić on the occasion of the holiday of Easter, said from the office of the BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović.
